My name is Paal Steensland, am Norwegian and have been established in Switzerland since 1991. I founded sCHNOw Sàrl as a side business in 2009.

To me, sCHNOw Sàrl is a “clin d’oeil” to Nordic innovation and Swiss excellence. The adventure began with a Norwegian discovery—the world’s best wallet(?). This discovery sparked a desire to share the gems of Nordic innovation.

At sCHNOw, we pride ourselves in authentically representing our client companies, respecting their culture and lifestyle, and adapting to the Swiss market in all its languages and cultures. Our selection of consumer goods began with the exceptional EXENTRI wallet and expanded to include Comfyballs, the ultimate men’s boxers. Then we got acquainted with Miiego, the Danish brand synonymous with an active lifestyle.

Although our roots are Scandinavian, sCHNOw was created and has grown in Switzerland (4 languages – German, French, English and Italian), in an international environment in the middle of Europe, allowing us to be a portal to the world of imports and distribution in Switzerland. We like to think of sCHNOw as your “next step facilitator” for a brand wishing to grow internationally by winning the hearts of the Swiss consumer.

This is one of the reasons why we’re so proud to also work with Tony Perotti, the Italian maestro of vegetal-tanned leather goods. Simply because our customers deserve the best, regardless of origin.
